HOSA will be offering Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for educators. A CEU briefing will be held
immediately following the Local and State Advisor orientation on Wednesday, June 22 at 1:30 p.m.
If you are interested in receiving credit, please go tonlc.hosa.org
to download a CEU information
packet and get started.
CEU certificates will be awarded by NATIONAL HOSA. Chapter advisors should check with their local
school administration or state advisor to determine if these CEUs are recognized for meeting state
teaching licensure requirements.
The CEUs offered are “Education” CEUs, not nursing CEUs.
The CEU certificate indicates 10 hours = one CEU. If your school measures units by the hour, the certificate
will show the hours.
Completed CEU packets should be submitted at HOSA Headquarters on Friday, June 24 from 10-10:30 p.m.
or Saturday, June 25 from 8-9 a.m.
Advisors must complete 10 hours of staff development to earn one CEU or 20 hours to earn two CEUs.
A maximum of 20 hours or two CEUs will be awarded per person; partial credit or hours will not
