Introduction to Communication Tools

Technology has come to bridge the gap between health science education and practice. This can take many form, but one of the most important is communication. This module covers various communication tools including: E-Mail, ListServs, Bulletin Boards, Chat Rooms, Instant Messaging, Teleconferencing , Web-based Conferencing, Using the Internet and Web Site Construction. Its important to note that this module has several pages, so make sure you visit them all! Let's begin with those resources that can be helpful for using the Internet.

The Internet contains excellent sites and resources that could prove helpful to Health Science Technology teachers in planning instruction and providing quality learning experiences for tomorrow’s healthcare professionals.  The quantity of information could be overwhelming!  The chart, reviewed by HOSA professionals like yourself, provides a starting place for teachers who wish to integrate Internet resources into classroom instruction.
