  • Carefully read “Introduction: Integrating HOSA Competitive Events in the Health Science Technology Classroom.”
      
  • On the Internet, find an article that describes the concept of “employability skills.” Employability Skills are skills that employers seek in employees.
      
  • After reading both articles, answer the question “How can participation in HOSA Competitive Events develop employability skills in students?”
        
    • If this course is being taken for credit, submit your written analysis and a copy of the “employability skills” article you found to your instructor by the published deadline.
        
    • If this course is being taken under the direction of a mentor, discuss your answer to the question with your mentor.
  
Assignment #2 – National HOSA Competitive Events Program Test
  
  • Carefully study the Introductory Information in the HOSA Handbook, Section B, the “General Rules and Regulations.”
     
  • Take the “National HOSA Competitive Events Program Test.” Score your results.
     
  • Find the correct answers to the questions you missed. Circle the correct answers and record the location of the correct answer (in the General Rules and Regulations) on the test document. Submit your scored and corrected test to your instructor or mentor.
