Leadership Opportunities for HOSA Members

Leadership Academy

The 20th Annual Leadership Academy will be held in conjunction with NLC 2008 and will focus on leadership and chapter management skills.

• The State Officer Leadership Academy provides an opportunity for officer teams to receive valuable leadership training.
• The State Officer Leadership Academy is divided into “New” and “Advanced” sessions. Teams may attend only one. The State Advisor will determine session selection.
• The member leadership academy will feature training sessions on leadership and chapter management skills. DO NOT register for the Member Leadership Academy if you cannot attend the entire workshop.
• Attendee names will not be listed in this year’s program as previously.

New State Officers Workshop

Tuesday, June 17th Time: 8:30 AM – 12 PM
Cost: $25 fee for materials [lunch is not included in the materials fee]

Advanced State Officers Workshop

Tuesday, June 17th Time: 1:00 PM – 4:30 PM

Cost: $25 fee for materials [lunch is not included in the materials fee]

HOSA Member Workshop: One workshop is available and all registered attendees MUST attend the entire workshop.

Thursday MORNING, June 19th Time: 8:30 AM – 12 PM

Thursday AFTERNOON June 19th Time: 1:00 PM – 4:30 PM

Cost: $25 fee for materials [lunch is not included in the materials fee]

Staff Development Opportunities for New HOSA Advisors

New Advisor Leadership Academy

The New Advisor Leadership Academy is designed to provide the New HOSA Advisor with the tools they need to effectively and efficiently manage HOSA opportunities for their students. Ask your state advisor how you can represent your state and participate.

Date for Workshop: Friday, June 20th - Time: 9 AM – 4 PM

Cost: $50 fee for materials [lunch is not included in the materials fee]
