Knowledge Grows Leaders, Leaders Grow HOSA. For the past 25 years, HOSA has offered the Leadership Academy in conjunction with the National Leadership Conference. HOSA Leadership University is designed to help members, at all levels, to grow as leaders and to make the most of their opportunities as HOSA leaders.
HOSA 101 - Members
HOSA 101 is for HOSA members that have not served as a chapter officer. HOSA members will focus on basic HOSA knowledge, self-esteem building techniques, communication practices, realistic organizational goal-setting, basic leadership principles, and commitment to strive for excellence as a future health professional leader.

HOSA 201 - Local Chapter Officers
HOSA 201 is designed for the local chapter officers. An experiential approach will be used to focus on being an effective officer, able to move from me to we (people management skills), recruit others, manage time, be more knowledgeable of HOSA, and practice professionalism.

HOSA 301 - State Officers
HOSA 301 is for state officers only. This dynamic leadership development program will help state officers learn to be an effective HOSA Ambassador, be aware of personal leadership strengths and weaknesses, be effective in a team, be successful in networking, connect leadership development to organizational strategies, and developing advocacy.
