America’s ToothFairy Recognizes HOSA Members

Students from 6 HOSA Chapters have been awarded travel scholarships to the 3rd Annual America’s ToothFairy Oral Health Zone Summit, held June 12-13th at 3D Systems in Rock Hill, SC. The America’s ToothFairy Oral Health Zone Summit will provide these students with the opportunity to explore dentistry from a public health perspective, learn about the role of technology in the dental space, participate in an oral health service project, and network with dental health professionals from across the country.

These 6 HOSA Chapters are part of a national network of nearly 400 HOSA Chapters who have signed-on as Students United with America’s ToothFairy. Through Students United with America’s ToothFairy, HOSA Chapters provide their communities with oral health education, explore oral health disparities while advocating for access to quality dental care, and organize fundraisers all in attempt to prevent and eliminate the #1 chronic childhood disease: tooth decay.
