The Hispanic Heritage Foundation is once again conducting a nation-wide search for the best and the brightest Hispanic/Latino leaders; for the 4th consecutive year, CVS/Caremark will be a sponsor of the Healthcare Scholarship. I encourage you to spread the word amongst your students. 

 

The Youth Awards program offers educational grants in several categories to qualified Hispanic/Latino high school rising seniors. Recipients are eligible to receive an educational grant ranging from $1,000 to $3,000. The application is now available online atwww.hispanicheritage.org. The deadline to apply is September 15th 2014.

 

Latino high school seniors who excel in the classroom and community can apply to any of the following categories: business & entrepreneurship (Presented by BBVA Compass), education (Presented by Southwest Airlines, Official Airline of the Youth Awards),engineering & mathematics (Presented by ExxonMobil), fitness & nutrition (Presented by Herbalife / Transamerica – Official Insurance Company of the Youth Awards),  healthcare (Presented by CVS Caremark Workforce Initiatives), media, and innovation & technology (Presented by Entertainment Software Association). Additionally, the Hispanic Heritage Innovative Educator Award is presented by Association of Latino Administrators & Superintendents and sponsored by Qlovi.
