The UCLA Center for East-West Medicine Announces the Selection of the HOSA-CEWM Advisory Council

In partnership with the UCLA Center for East-West Medicine (CEWM), HOSA-Future Health Professionals is proud to congratulate eight student and two advisor members to serve on the newly formed HOSA-CEWM Advisory Council with the immediate goal to plan an introductory workshop on “Integrative Health & Wellness” at the 2015 HOSA National Leadership Conference in Anaheim, California.

HOSA student members selected:

Vivianne Chang shared, “We are pleased to see the enthusiasm for the field of integrative healthcare in these advisory council members chosen and feel confident that we have selected the most motivated and committed individuals to represent HOSA in this collaboration.

In addition to serving as a member of the advisory council, these new members will be guests of the UCLA Center for East-West Medicine at the upcoming Annual Student Conference for Integrative Medicine (ASCIM), on Saturday, February 28th, 2015, from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM at the UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center. This year’s event, themed “Exploring Integrative Medicine from a Clinical to a Global Scale”, features distinguished keynote speakers Dr. David Feinberg, President of UCLA Health and CEO of UCLA’s hospitals, and Dr. Ka-Kit Hui, Founder and Director of the UCLA Center for East-West Medicine.
