2016-17 HOSA, Inc. Board of Directors

The HOSA-Future Health Professionals announced the election of its board officers. The HOSA, Inc. Board of Directors conducted an election the 2016 Chairman, Chair-Elect, and Board Secretary.

Lloyd DeVault, State Advisor and Executive Director of Florida HOSA, was elected Chairman, HOSA, Inc. Board of Directors. Lloyd has been serving HOSA since 1997. He began as a local chapter advisor at Ft. Pierce Central High School and, in 2001, became the State Advisor and Executive Director of Florida HOSA, where he continues to lead the country’s second largest HOSA state association with nearly 15,000 members. Previously, Lloyd was a registered nurse at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center.

Brock Rops, South Dakota State Advisor, was elected as the Chair-Elect, HOSA, Inc. Board of Directors. Rops has been the Area Health Education Center (AHEC) Coordinator at the University of South Dakota (USD) since 2011 and the State Advisor of South Dakota HOSA since 2012. He is currently serving on the USD Health Science Advisory Board of Directors and the All About Science Festival Committee.

Dr. Peggy Enslen, Delaware HOSA State Advisor, was elected as the Secretary, HOSA, Inc. Board of Directors. Peggy has been First State’s HOSA Advisor since 2011. She currently serves on the National Consortium for Health Science Education (NCHSE) Board and the Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE) Board. Prior to becoming the Delaware HOSA State Advisor, Peg was a registered nurse in multiple health systems in Delaware.
