FLOWER MOUND, TEXAS – HOSA awarded a $1,000
National Honor Roll scholarship to Sarah Lee
Sexton of Stewart County High School, Dover
Tennessee. The National Honor Roll, a private organization
founded to honor high-achieving high school students,
donated the scholarship as an affiliate organization
of HOSA.
Sarah graduated in the top ten percent of her high
school with a GPA of 3.75. She plans to pursue a career
in dentistry with a concentration in orthodontics.
Sarah was elected at this year’s HOSA National
Leadership Conference to serve as the 2004-05 Region
II Vice-President on the National Executive Council.
She will be attending Middle Tennessee State University
this fall as a Health Science major.
HOSA is a national student organization endorsed
by the U.S. Department of Education and the Health
Science Technology Division of ACTE. HOSA’s
mission is to promote career opportunities in the
health care industry and to enhance the delivery of
